Agriculture… à la carte – Your Weekly Ag Update – As we have seen throughout this pandemic, food grown in distant locations has a greater risk for food safety issues throughout its journey from harvesting to washing, shipping and distribution to the grocery store. Our state is recognizing and appreciating the need for a stable, local food supply. As efforts to provide processing options for farmers continue you will see government, business groups, farmers and ranchers working together to strengthen our food chain.
